Ria is one of our compassionate and approachable Associate Dentists at Surbiton Dental, with a particular passion for cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign treatment. Having grown up in Surrey, Ria studied at King’s College London before completing further restorative training at QA Hospital in Portsmouth. She has always loved orthodontics — even achieving the highest score in her university orthodontic exams, and is passionate about helping patients improve their smiles while still keeping them natural.

Ria is inspired by both her father, a highly respected GP, and her grandmother, who she describes as the “Queen” of the family, for their kindness, generosity and dedication to others. Outside of dentistry, she loves travelling, trying new foods, reformer Pilates, badminton and cooking new recipes. Italy, especially Rome, is one of her favourite places in the world, although Japan is still high on her travel wish list.

Known for being meticulous and caring, Ria believes success is about building trust and making patients feel genuinely comfortable throughout their dental journey. When she’s not in practice, you’ll often find her spending time with family, enjoying plenty of food and laughter, or with Lucky — the family’s much-loved Cavapoo. Although she once dreamed of becoming an astronaut, she now enjoys helping patients feel more confident in their smiles every day.
